Outcome
Know which routine tasks you may complete and which changes require an authorised specialist.
Applies to
Use these boundaries whenever you operate Movetrics Studio, manage records, interpret a report, or troubleshoot the installed system.

Before you begin
- Confirm which role your organisation has assigned to you.
- Follow your organisation’s rules for access to Subject records and exports.
Steps
- An operator prepares the area and person, selects the correct project and protocol, follows the wizard, reviews trial quality, and records notes.
- A customer administrator may create and link projects and Subjects, select approved configurations, edit examiner notes, save reports, export data, and record installed version information.
- A qualified practitioner reviews the protocol, trace, results, context, and automatically generated AI text before communicating an interpretation.
- A trained customer administrator may perform an approved, customer-specific Fz calibration only when formally authorised and using the controlled procedure supplied for that system.
- Movetrics handles installation, licensing, firmware, database migration or recovery, non-Fz calibration, service interfaces, data-service settings, and any update or rollback outside an approved customer procedure.
- Normal display preferences may be changed when your customer policy allows them. Display changes must not be treated as changes to stored measurements.
- If a requested action falls outside your role, stop before making the change and record what needs to be done.
You should now see
Each requested task has one clear owner, and routine users can work without entering protected service areas.
Stop or repeat when
- You are asked to change calibration, firmware, licensing, database, data-service, or service-interface settings without written authorisation.
- Your role or the approved procedure is unclear.
If it does not work
Leave the current configuration unchanged. Record the request, the affected system, and the reason the change is needed so it can be reviewed safely.
